Special Events

Special events are part of the fun at Lake Casitas. Some of the events featured throughout the year include:

Kid's Fishing Day in March is our way of encouraging youngsters (of all ages) to get up close and personal with the fish. Along with a live fish plant in the lake, learning stations are set up with fish for the children to catch, free "goodie" bag while supplies last and to round it off, a free Hot Dog lunch for the first 200 registered kids.
The Renaissance Festival, in the spring, brings the Queen and her subjects to stroll the grounds as patrons enjoy performers, period food, arts and crafts.
The Annual Ojai Wine Festival, in June, draws more than 40 wineries and micro-breweries from vineyards of the nearby Santa Ynez Valley www.ojaiwinefestival.com.
The Pirate Faire & Fall Renaissance Festival, in the fall, bring Yo Ho Ho fun for the entire family with pirate treasure games and entertainment.
